Pros

Mission to improve the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s and related dementia. Many good people, unfortunately poorly led

Cons

Leadership lacks the skill to run a successful business. They appear to be good at fundraising but execution on the vision is severely flawed. CEO in particular has little discretion for boundaries and requests work after 5 on Fridays, weekly all company meetings beginning at 6 pmET, etc. Was frequently assigned fools errands with no explanation other than the CEO thought it was imperative. After 9 years and multiple rounds of investment there should be more to show for it. Made verbal commitments during job offer but leadership failed to follow through on commitments

Pros

Real world problems to solve. Incredible colleagues.

Cons

Shaky ride. Lack of transparency. Upper management has changed frequently. Operates like a young chaotic startup but has been around for 8 years or so.

Pros

Neurotrack is a mission-driven company with smart, dedicated, & compassionate people. People are valued for both their individual contributions, as well as their contributions as members of a team. There’s a culture of transparency, being open to feedback, and constantly working to improve. I value that the work challenges me to learn and improve my skills every day, while knowing that I have the support needed to take on new challenges.

Cons

As with many start-ups, priorities can shift, or the scope of projects can change quickly. Personally this isn’t a con, but just something to be aware of.
