Pros

Online retailers will hire you with experience from here as they know the company

Cons

I just don’t even know where to begin… * poor management who just want staff to agree with them, they don’t want your experience or thoughts * staff are in senior positions based on relationships, a lot of the people here don’t have industry experience from elsewhere * no trust in the staff whatsoever * no programs to help grow the employee and train them * public humiliation amongst your colleagues in person or online if you don’t understand something or manager doesn’t agree with something you’ve said or done * everything is just so serious, the fun was sapped out the company * high turnover, so many people come and go * favouritism is rife * not so culturally mixed… * micromanagement * no one seems to know what they want and changes so often, it’s confusing * things I saw were not right, how employees were treated. My manager at the start was lovely and took time to teach me and have fun whilst doing our daily tasks however they were treated appallingly and left *low pay * stressful

Pros

Next to coles (so you can go shopping on your designated 12pm lunchbreak)

Cons

- The whole office is weird. Everyone is constantly on edge that they are about to get fired (and the fact they have seen recent examples of mass redundancies every few months happening only reinforces this). -Everyone has to take their lunch break at 12pm. Management will tell you off if you get back to your desk after 1pm. also the lunchroom is kinda weird like just a table of people speaking Chinese (so if you cant speak the language you are on your own) -You will quickly notice that most of the management team have only gotten their titles either through being married or being ‘best friends’ to another person in management. None of them have actually earned their titles through experience so don't bother joining the company hoping to actually ‘learn from real leaders’
