Pros

You get overtime Coworkers are nice It's perfect for college students, not adults w financial responsibility.

Cons

The pay is low. Once you accept one shift of overtime they will continue to ask and essentially burn you out. You're expected to still perform top notch with no sleep while being bashed by rude patrons. Management does NOT have your back whatsoever. They care more about their contracts and believe patrons over their employee's.

New Horizon has a great group of employees, casual environment, and lots of growth.

Cons

The upper management at New Horizon is very disconnected from the guards and support staff. Communication is a serious problem and they do not have the infrastructure to continue getting large contracts. The pay is below average as are benefits. They will fire or make you reapply for your job pretty quickly if they feel things are not going their way. Employee retention is terrible because they make as low as $8.50/hr with no possibility of a raise if the guards stay at the same site. The supervisors are sometimes unreasonable and will go on a "power-trip" and fire people that they need to run sites effectively.

Cons

The pay and micro management of staff is unbelievable. I would not recommend this company to anyone
