Pros

Some talented people doing some interesting work.

Cons

After hours work and weekend work is the norm and is met with no appreciation or compensation. Expectations are so high that everyone is generally set up for failure. Rewards are dangled in front of employees for motivation but are always withdrawn or altered. Hard to believe the company can claim they put their employees first when it's the exact opposite. Verbal abuse is common from the CEO and the working environment is often unpleasant. Turnover is high as a result.

Unpredictable and terrible

Pros

The people are nice and designers get nurtured and get all the benefits of a good company culture but if you're a Project Manager or technical lead, your life will be hell. The CEO has a 2 ways approach: project managers are put under an incredible pressure while designers get nurtured and love working there.

Cons

The CEO mainly. A very charismatic person who in words has clear ideas on how to structure the agency and run the business, but then he comes short in fulfilling that vision. He says one thing and the day after he contradicts himself.

Pros

The most beautiful office I have ever worked in, well furnished space, open space, lots of light, upbeat music and an adorable puppy. The team is a hard-working bunch and is always there to help each other, even in the busiest times. The CEO (Nima) is one of the most passionate individuals I have ever met, he is eager to mentor - he has been incredibly supportive. There is a variety of different cultures within the company, which creates a work environment which is refreshing - there are no silos, no politics, everyone works and socialises together as one. The agency is small, flexible and agile. New projects come on very quickly and due to the nature of the role, it allows me to remain switched on - I am never bored and I learn so much in a short amount of time. Monday mornings are made more enjoyable with the team-breakfast that we all have together - great way to start a day.

Cons

Due to the abundance of projects and deadlines that need to be met, unless something has been organised, each team member will take lunch at varied times so there is little opportunity for everyone to be social together on a daily basis - therefore lunch times will often be rather quiet. Currently, the company is rather new so there are few/little processes in place, which works for some and does not work for others. At times work can be stressful due to projects coming on, leading to longer hours. it is very important that the individual voices their concerns when this happens. In my experience, if you are reasonable and assertive, Nima will support you - if you don't ask, you don't get. The nature of the company is best suited for driven individuals who enjoy being challenged, flexible and want to contribute to digital innovations - you will always feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of each week.
