Poor communication, from the top down. Upper management have trouble relaying important information to personnel. Difficult to get things paid for, as in hardware. It's easier to expense your hardware needs and have your money reimbursed. Seems it the only loophole to getting certain budgets approved. Very poor security. There had been several robberies and break-ins, and not to mention internal theft runs rampant. Very poor accounting system to log your vacation and personal/sick time--it's a spreadsheet. No time tracking or project management software to help move projects along, fogbugs is a very poor platform for this. Lot's of internal bickering and pointing of fingers when things don't go as planned, the company's reliance on open and free software like skype, really make it a very unreliable system. You have to keep all your emails and skype transcripts because decision makers often change their minds, or play the blame game. You have to watch your back. There are many dividing lines within the company, many little departments, and most of them can't seem to get along with each other. Lot's of low morale. The company has a don't care stance on employees who resign. I had to sign a form saying I wouldn't try to encourage other current employees to resign. Very immature and insecure of the upper management/legal to have that clause.
