Pros

* Very skilled developers who are committed to their jobs and what they make * High calibre contracts with big name brands * Free breakfasts everyday with a cooked breakfast on Friday

Cons

I can only speak for when I worked there several months ago so should be read as so; * All members of staff where overworked with a very high churn rate of employees * Deadlines where often very tight which should have been argued back by project managers * Long hours and with large amount of over time. The normal working hours were 9:30 until 6:30 with employees often doing 1-2 hours over time. This lead to high levels of stress and burn out amount of levels of staff * Clients were given basically direct contact with the developers which meant that planning was made almost impossible which lead in to my next point; * Lack of true sprint based development which chose the worst parts of both waterfall and agile. I also share many of the worries that the other 1 star review posted here states.

Pros

The project managers, designers and developers are all very talented and very respectful to each other Good location Flexible working hours A cupboard stocked with food Sometimes theres a company outing They finally hired an office manager instead of using project managers and account managers to do office maintenance

Cons

There is very little communication or understanding as to how development works from the higher ups Deadlines are unrealistic There is a a lot of disrespect from the higher ups It doesn't matter how many times we discuss or agree on process it all goes out the window after a few weeks Too much time is spent squabbling over UX and design instead of quick prototyping This is a mobile agency but almost everyone is involved in web projects There is an extremely high turn over for staff and no easy way for new workers to understand the non-existent but frequently discussed development processes Every project ends up with the same negative outcome of running over deadlines, important things being rushed over and someone being extremely angry Your often doing things completely outside your role (eg product managers doing design)

Pros

- Decent location - Breakfast on Fridays - Talented co-workers who care about their quality of output - Camaraderie and friendships because of perpetually being elbow deep in the trenches

Cons

- Distinct hierarchical organisation - Employees are there to support "superstar" directors - As a fairly young agency, there are no solid working processes in place, leading to a lot of frustration and overworked employees. - Terrible resourcing and planning due to poor management. Account people and project managers have no grasp of how much time and effort team members need for each project. Outrageous promises are made to clients leading to unreasonable deadlines and mismanagement of expectations. To makes matters worse, senior management runs out the door by 6, leaving team members behind to drudge on late into the night. - Alarming turnover rate - Absolutely zero work/life balance
