Pros

Join unless you have no choice. Full of politics. Nisum does not have a good reputation. Hire and Fire policy. worst working culture. Be ready to work more than 14 to 16 hours daily and also be ready for the micromanagement. Doest not value the employees Lot of firing since the pandemic and will continue further. Notice period policy is worst.

Cons

This is my personal experience and I am writing this because to help others to not to face the situation I faced. In my experience, I have never seen a company like Nisum and would not want to see it in the future. Firing is common and many employees lost jobs. As long as you are in a project you have no issues but the moment you are out of the project, be ready for the 'Pink slip'. I have worked for more than 5 years and when I was rolled off from the project had a meeting with the HR team. First, they blamed me for my attitude and other things ( which is ok when i am giving the billing to the company). If you are billable and do anything in the company it's all fine. Because Nisum wants money. They asked me to put in 'Resignation' and told me I will not get the notice period. If I put in a resignation mail, then they will simply accept and process the F&F. But I will not get the 2 months of notice period pay. I have refused and fought with the company, they tried to threaten me with the so-called 'Displainery' actions. This is how they play with you even in this pandemic times, people in nisum do not have basic professional ethics. I told them, I would take 'Legal' action against the company in case they do not give the 'Notice period'. All of sudden, they have agreed to give the notice period pay. ( Moral is 'Be the Bully for the Bullies) But the notice period pay is different in Nisum. Normally, in any company, if the company decides to roll off an employee then the Employer would give the Noticeperiod pay on the day they roll-off. So its advance pay. so If I lost the job and my notice period is 3 months then I would get the 3 months advance payment on my last working day. This money will help the people who lost the job to find a new job since it's a lumpsum amount. In Nisum, it's all different. First, they will tell you the decision and will threaten you put in the resignation email, though it's their decision. If you are strong like me then you would not bend yourself and would fight with them. Otherwise, I don't need to say. If you are strong, management will agree with you. Now, they will take the laptops back and inactive your account. They will ask you not to come to the office and they will pay the salary as per the NP policy. If you get another job in 5 or 10 days and if you inform them, then your F&F will be processed till then day. So you would lose the advance NP pay in this case. This is how they will cheat people.

Pros

If you are manager's pet, you get to reach heights without working a teeny tiny bit. They let you learn new technologies without doing any work. If you have got a good recommendation, they pamper you with h1 and b1 visas. That's how you grow.

Cons

Only 2 big clients. One is almost gone. They dont have respect for other people's work dignity. Also being a VP i.e vice president of the company, that guy thinks everyone who comes from a rural background has no communication skills and are all by rote candidates. First of all, he has no corporate etiquettes. And coming to the technical management, they are damn partial towards their kith and kin whom they have got into the company with recommendations. People who have no expertise are put into critical projects and others are given monotonous work to do. No work from home. And I almost forgot. They are hiring all these osi guys for 100% hikes and the attitude that these guys show!!!! My goodness.. they feel that they are the Masters of everything. Trust me, these guys see the remaining guys as they have been brought here as nothing and have no knowledge of anything. They even passed direct comments to non ex osi guys that they should conduct interviews again for all the guys who are inside the company to see who has grip on their subject. No etiquettes at all!! No structure!!! No proper organization. It' has been a havoc Working here. Yes, and another thing they give the food on He feels that by hiring people he is doing some social work for the employees!! His attitude is the worst!!!

Pros

salary on time medical benefit (improved few months back) leave policy (improved few months back)

Cons

I recently joined nisum. They majorly have only 2 clients. I worked with one client WSI which I regret a lot. We need to put lot of efforts daily. In a day we need to spend minimum 11-12 hrs since morning standup call to late night calls. This happens every year, every month, every week and every day. What they do is to just impress clients they make us work like labours. If a normal project takes 6 months of time then these guys just to impress client they put deadline to complete within 3 months. There will be no work life balance. Not only me but from junior level to senior level everyone will be forced to work like hell. Suppose if you are Java guy they even ask you work on front end also that too with strict deadlines. So even after working day and night if someone asks for allowances what they tell is "why can't you finish your deliverables in day time only ? why you are stretching till midnight". On top of this work pressure they will give you more responsibilities like giving trainings to others, every quarter you need to do 2 pocs with new technologies etc. Now as WFH started this pressure reached to its peak. They offer only little amount of extra package because of this torture. So If anyone want to join then please ask some current employees through linkedin then decide. Don't fall for their fake reviews. management doesn't care about their employees they don't give proper hike.
