      Great CEO; Many nice people ; Controlling Engineering

      Pros

      You'll meet some nice people. There's plenty of people who are easy to get along with. The salaries are competitive.

      Cons

      Engineering is run in a very controlling way. New ideas don't get very far. Engineering management has the ideas, takes the credit, delegates blame, and does a lot of ranting.

      Driven and smart team members passionate about helping customers develop assays and troubleshoot problems Rapid hardware and software development timelines made customer support easier than previous companies Tight-knit team in open layout facility, company held fun family-friendly events. HR team was great! Good compensation and benefits packages

      Cons

      Numerous domestic and international customers spanned various time zones making team coverage more difficult. Required extra effort outside of standard working hours Limited performance evaluation cycles
