Pros

If you’re into investments and savings, you can find many like minded people at Nordnet.

Cons

Promotions, company equity options and salary are not merit based, company success is not shared with employees. Decisions are made top down, usually during some random management meetings. It’s 95% a bank and 5% a tech company, management is old school and mediocre. Avoid this company if you can, especially if you’re not a Swedish white man.

Possible to work 50% at home. Extra bank pension scheme and good mortgage interest.

Cons

Absence of career path. No investment in human capital / personal development. Toxic management style that favors loyal conformists and euphomistic advocates of those in charge. Salary development is cost focused and does not necessarily consider individual performance. Unattractive option scheme.

Nice people, good engineering culture, amazing tech stack and developer experience, opportunities to contribute to the wider engineering department and innovate and explore in hack days/hackathons and in developer environments.

Cons

Management struggling to figure out the culture & direction. Lack in senior engineering presence to take engineering to the next level. Lack in senior engineering opportunities with more mandate/responsibility. Executives a bit out of touch with the rest of the company. Company needs a better product and engineering collaboration.
