Pros

All I can say positively about NS is that they know how to hire incredible, kind people. My former coworkers are all some of the most wonderful people I've had the pleasure to work with and whether you left before me or continue to hunker down, I only wish you the best in life. Also, I'm sure if you somehow got a job in the research end it'd be interesting! But I don't know, to be honest.

Cons

There is honestly too much to type. High level management harassing workers over my previous Glassdoor review. Poor pay and extremely little hands on assistance from your manager. Management almost entirely made up of friends of the owners, leading to pure incomptenance. Zero communication from the top down. Overpromising their clients and delivering subpar product. Throwing their money around like they're still a small buisiness of five people. The only time change happens is when you embarass them, and even then you have to be careful. One manager was promoted because they union busted. I told the CEO to his face that employees were unsatisfied and underpaid and they implimented the most pitiful raise structure so they could say they did something about it. Working at NS is monotanous, back-breaking work where you're rewarded with managers patting themselves on the back, giving you a few slices of pizza, and then carrying on. Even if you're into warehouse jobs, please search elsewhere.

Pros

My influencer and affiliates were happy + actively creating content (the part of my job that matters), I met some cool people, I threw a wildly successful event for them at a conference in Denver.

Cons

I've never met such immature and misogynistic management in my life. The 3 co-founders are a joke and frankly cowards who have no idea how to run a company. My direct manager was the most inappropriate oversharer and constantly talked at me which directly impacted my productivity, consistently cancelled my meetings when I asked for them with her, never gave me a straight answer on anything. That's just what was directed at me, The way I saw the founders treat other employees was bizarre, awkward, at-times rude, and communication overall was just so terrible and let's just say... "the vibes were OFF." The CEO tried to gaslight me in a meeting even though I had receipts so I ultimately quit (which was very clearly their plan the whole time).

Pros

-Everyone I have worked with at North Spore on a daily basis has been truly lovely. They’re kind, generous and welcoming. - The work is not life-saving, which means there is no associated stress. It makes for a great bridge job or seasonal job.

Cons

- When I started working at North Spore, we had more fun little perks. I have watched them slowly disappear, replaced by a more rigid management structure, less flexibility with hours and PTO, and a greater emphasis on obtaining efficiency data. - Management and upper management often lack empathy and communication skills, providing murky goals and expectations. Employees are encouraged to quit if working conditions do not meet their standards. - Pay is on the low end of the standard for the area for warehouse workers. There is also very little room for upward or lateral growth within the company
