Get to know a lot of different grants in the market and a lot of company in different industries.
Cons
Be ever ready to move with the changes when gov makes a different direction in the grant policies and directions. Means your job position can be redundant in a blink of an eye when the gov grant policies changes. Unless you are able to adapt to the changes. E.g. From ops to sales to marketing to a trainer to whatever position the company needs you to be.
