      Pros

      They have free soft drinks at the Atlanta headquarters. Even that is essentially a con as they squeeze the plants on OpEx to pay for said soft drinks, $100k Christmas parties for the Atlanta office, etc.

      Cons

      This company treats employees as though they are consumable parts. After not paying a bonus in FY13 due to missing the EBITDA threshold by 1% (arguably the direct result of Phil Marten's (CEO) decision to go live on SAP too early and not listen to his project team), they treated the few employees who haven't left with a whooping 2.5% merit increase for FY14. And while Phil stated that no bonus would be paid in FY13 this is a half truth. He left out the fact that je and other members of senior management receive LTIP which is essentially a bonus. It is a shame as at one point in time this company had genuine talent. I question the intelligence of anyone who still works there after being continually slapped in the face by Phil.

      - Can have flexibility to explore new ideas and projects - Collaborative environment - Generally kind people who are not in leadership - Great mission to shape a sustainable world together - Opportunities to work; there is so much work to be done here - Cool office environment

      Cons

      - Forced RTO, without any exceptions (some employees live outside a 60-mile radius and are expected to commute) - Tone deaf leadership - make decisions without input from employees or do the opposite of input from employees - Disorganized strategy from global leadership team + global HR leadership, especially with regard to parent company - Low pay and extremely reluctant to promote and give raises - No regard for work-life balance, especially from parent company - Lack of transparency from leadership

      Shocking that the Atlanta Business Chronicle Just gave an award to HR!!!! Don’t they read Glassdoor? Didn’t they find out about the incident after the Christmas Party last December involving a senior manager and subordinates drinking to excess... Senior Manger is still employed! Favoritism, fear of lawsuits? WTH! This week someone wrote Novelis Sucks on the Wall in the Womens Restroom following the latest dubious vindictive firing of a staff member who suffered from overbearing management and abuse. morale has reached a new low (if that’s possible!).
