Pros

There's never a lack of work to do. Many of Now TV's employees are very talented, intelligent, and friendly. Plenty of opportunities for training and rotations into other teams. Generally, it's a good place to work.

Cons

Communication and relationships between certain teams are very poor. Not everyone is listened to (e.g. criticism on the 24 hour sports pass price), and sometimes the senior business leaders and managers seem to think that only they know what's best for the company. There seem to be some egos and petty politics. The work can also be very stressful, due to the business wanting to get products out ASAP in order to compete with Netflix. This means that some of our apps ship with bugs, which are otherwise avoidable. There have also been some budgeting issues, resulting in a lack of resources for some of the teams within Now TV.

Pros

Fast paced. Talented people. Growing product. Learnt much. Good benefits.

Cons

Long hours. Infighting. Bullying. Over realistic demands. Psychopathic senior managers. No promotions/feedback. Staff seen as expendable.
