      Lost its values somewhere along the way

      Pros

      Social Events are numerous and varied. Some very knowledgeable and motivated people in the business.

      Cons

      Management promotions based on who you know as opposed to knowledge/fit. Lack transparancy around salary and benchmarking. Belief that 'culture' is a substitute for below industry average salaries. 'Values' are not used in daily activities and sadly just merely buzz words used to paper over the ever more evident cracks. Small company values have been lost and it is now similar to any other big life company with very little autonomy, trust or respect given to its employee's. HR sadly represent none of the companies values and instead aggresively target certain employees whom they dislike despite line managers attempts to stop. Many knowledgeable and experienced team members have left over the last two years due to the change in atmosphere and culture

      Reality did not meet expectations

      Pros

      Some of the team members work hard to look after each other.

      Cons

      In the tech department there is a poisonous atmosphere, employees are actively trying to unseat each other. When this problem is raised it is always quickly swept under the carpet. Management are getting paid for not doing much more than creating PowerPoint presentations. Lack of process and quality within the teams and a stinking attitude to match.

      More Than Just An Employer

      Pros

      Nucleus have gone above and beyond in their support to me and my family during the toughest of personal times. For the last year, my 3 year old son has been on the urgent heart transplant list at Great Ormond Street, 2 months ago we got the call a new heart had been found and a successful transplant followed. The pressure this put on my whole family from day 1 of his condition being diagnosed has been immense and I'm 100% certain in saying I wouldn't have made it through without the people of Nucleus. From the very top, to other members of the Exec, my Manager, my team, colleagues from around the business (some who I have never met), the support has been incredible. I will be forever grateful to Nucleus, and I feel extremely grateful to work for such a special company.

      No cons, such an exciting company who go above and beyond for their staff when needed
