Pros
Nucleus services a smaller user-base, you get to know the customers a little more closely than at larger corporations. The smaller company also feels more tight knit, you know your colleagues better. The manager at the time in 2018 was very relaxed, only cared about everyone doing their jobs, and would not micro-manage. It was nice to feel that level of trust.
Cons
Nucleus is owned by Fibernetics, a much larger corporation out in Ontario. Dealing with the larger parent company was one of the headaches, response times would sometimes be slow. The leaderships of Fibernetics was also not in touch with the ethos of a smaller local business and would often have demands that didn't align.
