Pros

The work environment is by far the best I've experienced. Very intelligent and genuinely nice co-workers and managers. Very flexible and accommodating to personal schedules which is great for families and students. Senior management truly cares about the employees, both professionally and personally, and strives to make the work place an enjoyable environment. Company pays 100% of FT employee’s and 50% of their dependent’s medical/dental premiums. This is very generous, especially in this economy. Company is growing rapidly while maintaining a small company culture. Management has confidence in employees which eliminates the need for excessive policies (i.e. policies for every possible situation/issue/resolution etc.). Employees are empowered to make decisions and to improve, or create, processes when necessary. Senior Management is very open about what is going on with the company, the financials, and the company's plans/goals.

Cons

The office can be hard to find due to its location. Parking at the SLC office is a little inconvenient.

Pros

Numira was a group of the most talented and intelligent people one could hope to have under one (well, two) roofs. It was inspiring being a part of some of the accomplishments and successes that the company experienced. Opportunity to work in a small business that still had a bit of a "startup feel" allowed for some entrepreneurial passion. Some of the staff shared personal interest areas outside of work, which was fun and helped loosen the tension in the office at times.

Cons

The constant feeling of uncertainty kept a dose of fear in many staff members. Expectations to fit pegs into round holes can be an enjoyable challenge, unless it comes along with extreme pressure, no training on how to accomplish the task, and it occurring on a daily basis. Micromanagement frustrated the masses.
