Nuvo Solutions can serve as a stepping stone for those looking to gain experience, and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, unless you're in upper management or close to the leadership, advancement within the company is difficult. They preach core values but seem to break them when it suits their interests.
In my professional career, I’ve never experienced bosses who call their subordinates "idiots" on customer calls, constantly put them down, and yell at them whenever outcomes aren’t favorable. I’ve witnessed employees in tears, hating their jobs but unable to leave due to financial constraints.
Dave Brown excels at sales and should have stuck to that. He sells the image of Nuvo as a place to grow and feel like family, but when employees ask for a raise or more responsibility, they are shut down with excuses about budget issues. Meanwhile, certain “top” directors receive generous pay, seemingly for agreeing with management’s criticisms of their teams.
I’m grateful I left when I did. If you’re looking for a serious job where you’re valued and respected, this isn’t the place. The company’s focus is on money, and core teams like customer support and fulfillment are constantly overworked while management micromanages and interferes in areas outside their expertise. The sales team is practically non-existent, and the fulfillment team constantly fixes errors caused by poor oversight.
The people I worked alongside in support and fulfillment were great. They are, in my opinion, the only reason this company is still running. If you want to feel appreciated and respected, I wouldn’t recommend Nuvo Solutions.
