      Pros

      The students are great. The salary is higher than most schools in the area. Strong union.

      Cons

      Staff is not supported. Schedules are overloaded. No consequences for violence towards staff, which occurs often. Micromanagement from upper-level administration.

      - Work/Life balance - Good PTO - Union optional - Wear whatever you want ( clothes will get ruined anyways)

      Cons

      - Dangerous work environment, you will be put in very unsafe working conditions - The Administration doesn't care about you - They're so short staffed, you can't keep yourself or your kids safe from other students (assaults of all kinds) - Virtually 1 step away from a state facility with no security, No learning is achieved due to severe behaviors (no idea how these facilities aren't shut down yet) - Poor/ Unrealistic Training - Diversity Equity and Inclusion problem despite trainings on it - Very poor pay for the type of work you do -No FMLA - Will mess with your paychecks illegally
