Pros

Good training provided by the company. Good career advancement, you will be noticed if you achieve high quota. Average but stable income, never delays and never miss once. Inclusive. Degree diploma, they don't mind. What matters is your drawing skills and willingness. Get to work on popular animes

Cons

Worse Work/life balance. Bad coordination by the company. quota based, so pressure is too much for staff. Taking more work than the employee capacity, so often have help other staff with their work. Deadline based so you have absolutely no choice but to finish work even if it takes the whole night. No overtime pay even though working past 9 pm almost everyday. Worst overtime was until 2 days, more than 24 hours and no extra pay whatsoever and overtime past 2 am happens every month. Toxic managers.. Guilt-tripping staff when you're unable to finish work or wanting to extend time. Feels inhumane. Your 9am-6pm is very rare, feels like it's impossible. Replacement leaves are given but not immediately after the overtime, feels like they do this on purpose so you are forced to continue work after. Not worth the triple A anime we worked on.

Pros

- You get to work on your favourite Anime - Get more salary based on your performance - Was a great experience for me during the early years when they would try to make artists happy after some hard work

Cons

- Highly competitive and luck-based on difficulty of cuts - They prioritize the management, and artists are treated as cheap labor - Difficulty of shots doesn't affect your pay. You'll get paid the same as those who do easier parts even if you get the harder part of the work. - Malaysia's public holiday only lets the management go on leave. The artists has to do work.
