Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are so pleased that you recognised the learning opportunities available for staff while you were here. We invest heavily in professional development and offer a range of avenues for learning, including informal Lunch & Learn sessions, formal training sessions, and external opportunities. We can’t speak to our company owners’ fashion sense ;) but our Melbourne teams will also be moving to freshly renovated premises in trendy Collingwood: if nothing else, the neighbourhood is sure to rub off on us.

Pros

Friendly people, clean workplace. Good place for easy work

Cons

Same role for years and no progress, bad place for junior staff as no training and low pay. Leadership not interested in staff feedback.

Thank you sharing your concerns with us. We do take staff feedback very seriously and have recently conducted an all-staff survey to obtain a comprehensive understanding of staff views, which is in addition to our ongoing staff forums where staff can share concerns directly with our senior team (anonymously if they wish). The impacts of COVID in 2020 did mean that some programs needed to be put on hold, including our training program, however this will be back on for this year. Our formal professional development is available for permanent staff - perhaps you have been a casual with us? It is very unusual for permanent staff not to be promoted at ORIMA for the duration you stipulated. We do hope you raise your concerns about career progression with your manager so we can get you back on track.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this review (although we do not have a data analyst role in Sydney?) The impacts of COVID in 2020 did mean that some programs needed to be put on hold, including our professional training program, however this will be back on for this year as will other activities to support career development. In terms of data analytics, we are always looking for ways to bring our methodologies and tools up to date, in line with best practice and emerging technologies. We are very open to staff input on how our processes can be improved too – we’d love to hear your ideas!
