Where to start. Incompetent senior management, zero training, lazy co-workers who throw everything on the new people then talk behind their backs. Endless hours - literally you'll work for weeks at a time with no time off during the basketball and hockey seasons - with no thanks for the time and effort. As soon as the season's over they'll walk you to the door with no explanation. They treat people as disposable assets. Use them for as long as they need them, then get rid of them and hire someone new when it gets busy again. Rinse and repeat. HR is useless. Absolute worst place you can work. Stay away.

They work mid level salaried-managers 12+ hrs and with no bonus and hourly staff make over time and tips but do not have the experience or training of the managers and are allowed to travel

some slow days or very busy ones

Arena work can be seasonal

Every venue’s ability and level of morale is based off of the GM and their prerogatives. Corporate is completely disconnected from the field despite their disparaging efforts to act otherwise. The company preaches the typical DEI and anti-harassment jargon yet doesn’t apply the same rules to everyone. Retaliation is a thing within this company as well.
