Cons
The training period is unpaid. A portion of your earnings is deducted monthly by Ocean Communications for IBO (Independent Business Owner) fees. An additional monthly fee is deducted by the third-party platform used for remote work (e.g., Arise Virtual Solutions in my case). You are responsible for filing your own HMRC self-employment taxes, unless you pay an extra fee for Ocean Communications to do it on your behalf. A £300 training completion payment was promised but never received.
