      Pros

      You'll meet some great people, the best at what they do. Cool location, mission-based. You will learn how to figure everything out by yourself and how to be resilient cos nobody gonna be helping you.

      Cons

      You are not set up for success here at all which is shame as so many seriously intelligent people are employed. On the surface everyone tries to be lovely and offer recognition but when they decide they don't need you you'll be severed without notice. Senior leaders give the impression of listening without actually taking anything on board. Directors and managers will not step in to protect their team members. I've never worked at a more confused and tumultuous place in my life, such an absolute slog that will grind you down with little or nothing to show for it.

      Great people, terrible leadership

      Pros

      Remote and flexible - amazing colleagues on the ground level putting in the work with passion and zeal.

      Cons

      The difference between McDonald’s and Ocean Wise is that McDonald’s only has one clown in charge. Applicants beware - this is not the organization they claim to be: culture is toxic and goals are ever-changing therefore you will never reach the goal and money is consistently wasted.

      Great people outside of management who are working on great things.

      Management actively treats employers like an enemy and it feels like we were just there to help bring in funds for executive salaries.
