Adversity to change and improvement

Pros

1. Capability to hire high-performing, engaged people. 2. Consistency of work - good rainmakers bring it in. 3. Most people have all the traits of being great coworkers.

Cons

1. Business structure comprises two divisions (based on practice lines) with very different cultures - one good, one poor. 2. Constantly too much work and not enough variety - a tendency to churn and burn staff. 3. A culture of favourites. 4. Leadership reluctance to implement change/business process improvement to increase productivity and morale. 5. Unorthodox bonus structures which demotivate and are out of kilter with the rest of the exec search industry.

Pros

All the benefits of a privately held company (lack of politics and bureaucracy) but the backing of a global platform.

Cons

None really. It's a great place to be
