It should scare you that a startup has turnover
Pros
They are located downtown and you can walk to restaurants and most places are pretty quick to get around. They also have pretty good beer on tap.
Cons
I didn't realize until I started that a couple people had already come and gone from Ombud. I wish there had been a review when I accepted a position. Every day is a challenge when you come to work here. The hours are long and it is really awkward to be in the office. Nobody says more than a couple words all day, unless it is over the phone. The CEO will use phrases like building a lifestyle and take care of the business and it will take care of you. These are all negotiating tactics and when you interview, they will probably say that there are multiple people and they narrowed it down to you and someone else. This is a tactic, they hired one person when I was there and told her there was someone else, I never saw them interview another sole. The CEO is what I would consider equivalent to a tuxedo wearing used car salesman. Just because he comes off polished, don't trust him! Get everything in writing! EVERYTHING! Also, he basis his entire sales tactic on a book called Value Forward Selling. It's like 2 bucks to buy and if you read it before an interview, he will probably think you are a genius. Warning! Don't use the solo cups on the Kegerator, they are apparently expensive.
