The little company that could…

Pros

The company has so much potential and the concept and product is brilliant. There’s a immense amount of products for clients to choose from and a clear opportunity for continued revenue. Energy in the office is high.

Cons

The founder has control issues and doesn’t trust his employees enough to let them fully do their jobs or their roles. He and his wife run the company together and they wear all the hats and a lot of the time, they will present a role to the employee but actually won’t give that role because of “trust”. It’s a title only. There is a high turnover rate due to the above statement but in turn, they’ll promote the “in crowd” to keep them happy. There is favorites which is obvious from day 1. It’s easy to feel the bias and see the high school dynamics from your first week. They require all employees to like, comment and react to their LinkedIn posts which makes it look ridiculous to other companies. It’s time consuming and obvious ploy to whether what they are is credible. They can’t stand on their own.

Pros

This is a difficult area to find full-time employment. Omnicommander offers full-time opportunities.

Cons

When you work at a company that offers real opportunities for growth to its employees with proper compensation and recognition, you stick around. If you work at Omnicommander, you'll find the opposite. You'll find that people leave, or are let go, or are pushed out in one way or another. The biggest problem with Omnicommander is blaming employees for its shortcomings instead of the company itself. There is no work/life balance. The culture of the company is of utmost importance and is overall offensive and unprofessional. There are a lot of reviews on this site that were obviously written by employees after management pressured them to counteract the negative reviews with positive ones. Make your own judgement call when you go in for your interviews.

Unprofessional and Underpaid

Pros

It is a job. You work and receive a paycheck. There are some laughs with some good people. The good people will keep getting pushed out, unfortunately.

Cons

The expectation is that you do not have a life outside of the company. You live and breathe omnicommander and drink the koolaid. Any criticism or problem is seen to be an issue with the culture and as lack of commitment/loyalty. No benefits. No retirement. No trust in employees.
