Pros

Although the salary could be higher, One To World offers a range of opportunities to use my skillset as well as learn more about what makes a non-profit run on the day to day, which I could not have learned elsewhere.

Cons

The pay could be higher.

Excellent Place to Work

Pros

- Small, tight-knit team. I never felt like a faceless employee. It was easy to develop a personal relationship with each coworker, even while working from home. This also makes communication a breeze; there's no bureaucracy to speak of. - Kind and friendly atmosphere from the top down. Leadership treats you as a person first. This is evident in a lot of areas, but especially in their attitude towards time off. Junior employees are never made to feel uncomfortable for asking to use vacation days - if anything you'll be told to use more of them. In a burnout heavy city and industry this is such a plus. - Fun! There are lots of opportunities to be creative and meet new people.

Cons

It's an educational non-profit, as such their resources, including salaries, are limited. However One To World more than makes up for that with a solid work-life balance and good benefits.
