Pros
All I can think of is there are *some* nice people that you’ll work with.
Cons
First, the work environment is not clean or well-kept. The office area is horribly dusty and the cleaner they have does the absolute bare-minimum. Not the cleaner’s fault; management’s standards are awful. The factory floor is typically dirty for a factory floor, so nothing really to say about that. Work-life balance is fine enough. You can’t really take your work home with you when it’s a plastics factory. But management will chastise you for not working hard enough when you work your butt off. When you’re the one working and two people call in, and you have to take care of both of their jobs, wouldn’t it be nice for management to say “Wow, thanks for trying to stay on top of everything today! We really appreciate it!”? Well, they don’t. They tell you that you’re failing. Love that. Additionally, if you bring any concerns to anyone about something a coworker is doing, they sweep it so far under the rug, you feel like an idiot for even having a concern. Don’t forget that the bosses know best! Whatever you do, don’t suggest how something might work better. You’re just going to be told that you’re wrong. Also, the benefits are pretty awful, and you will make barely above minimum wage, if it’s even above it.
