      Pros

      Good learning environment. Really loved my boss & project manager, learned a lot. Cooperative environment and asking questions was strongly encouraged despite my anxiety. They were very supportive of me and I enjoyed my work there, the work hours was also flexible - as long as you deliver every 2 weeks.

      Cons

      Had dispute with CEO about being paid severance. Massive layoffs, and CEO said nobody received layoffs, but I asked my coworkers that got laid off, to be told different. That is frustrating. Thankfully they agreed to support my unemployment benefits, or I would be in a more dangerous situation right now.

      - good group of people where you feel heard, your opinions and ideas matter, and collaboration is an every day thing - get recognized and 'shout-outs' that acknowledge your hard work in projects - agile development process - stock options given to full-time staff - no hesitation to provide you with the tools you need to do your job - challenging projects

      Cons

      No place is perfect, so here it is: - your time could feel like its being wasted by co-designing with executive staff over tiny details that don't matter during 2hr meetings (occasional) - pick your battles. Sometimes the opinions of executives are so strong you just can't always win when advocating for certain ux best practices. You will be put in your place even when showing extensive research on competitive products - the nature of a start-up is that working weekends sometimes is necessary
