Pros

The schools that give you the jobs are usually nice and take care of you, the same can't be said about Openbook themselves. Who, on top of being highly incompetent in documentation matters, seek to deduct money from you at every turn.

Cons

Only 4 sick days a year, half your official salary will go to openbook and even so, they will try to deduct money from you for any reason at all. Just overall awful experience, save yourself some time and find a decent agency instead.

Pros

Good way to get into the country and some experience as a novice teacher. Good selection of schools to choose from. I would suggest teaching for a year and moving on to direct hire with a local school.

Cons

As with any agency there are issues. Must be careful when checking pay is correct. Experience can be dependent on the school you are placed at. Management is deaf to staff complaints. Management will threaten with visa cancellations.
