Pros
An exciting young company that is growing culturally and financially every day with some brilliant and supportive minds in leadership and the wider team that make you feel like the best is yet to come. Another pro I find, is the accessibility and exposure to various elements within a small business that you wouldn’t normally have exposure to amongst a larger company, this bodes well for professional development. As more procedures are put in place I look forward to more and more leadership and development opportunities. I have found OMG’s transparency amongst the team and clients alike, and its leaderships intention to always aim for the best for colleagues, customers and clients is a great and important attribute to hold onto as it heads to be publicly listed.
Cons
With its youth comes some growing pains as it’s navigates through its swift but considered trajectory. With this growth, I would say more focus will lie in embedded and clearly defined procedures and operations. With staff distributed across 3 major cities in various lockdown situations it has been a little challenging to maintain cultural momentum, however also quite remarkable how the bond remains virtually with the team continuing to keep its fun and innovative vibe. Most importantly emphasis and focus has been on looking out for each other through connection and well being days.
