Pros

Sometimes we laughed but it was at the pain and misery we were all feeling.

Cons

Honestly, if Netflix needs a new original series...this place would be the place to start. The amount of micromanging and two-faced individuals made this place an unhealthy environment. Don't expect your last check. Even if Ohio tells them they need to, they won't. I've seen people almost get into fist fights, jumping over tables because of bathrooms and misunderstandings because communication is non-existent. I've seen amazing people get called horrible names behind their backs and in front of their co workers. This place is a revolving door of talent getting treated like infidels. The number of corners that are cut is astonishing. If you're thinking about working here, just remember to weigh your options.

Pros

Flexible schedules and time off. Working with toys is fun and creative. Flexible title and job. Free spirits welcome. There are some really great people working there. Informal work environment where every opinion is heard.

Cons

Poor benefits. No leadership. Hunger Games hiring mentality. Seriously, they joke about it and say "May the odds be ever in your favor." They have a revolving door of employees. Most people figure out what's going on and leave quickly. The CEO is very shy and awkward. It is a small company but he will not speak to you for weeks or even months yet you will sit next to him in meetings multiple times a week and he pretends you're not there. It's strange. The priorities shift every 3-4 hours. Being flexible is key to marketing success but this place just did not know what it was doing. Chaotic is an understatement. Cold office during the winter. The second in command is a bit power hungry since the environment is unstable. I don't blame her for being protective of her position given the chaos she is surrounded by and the fact that her job is to corral the CEO and try to make sense of his rapidly changing plans. It is very hard to work with though. Also, she is decent at her job but not great and pretends to know everything. This is awkward when you know she doesn't know what she is talking about (which is not a big deal, no one knows everything and the mark of a good manager is to hire smart people and listen to them) but she is too defensive for anyone to every correct her. She is also pretty rude and does not seem to realize it. Vendors go out of their way to avoid doing business with the company because of the CEO and second in command. They are that awkward (CEO) and that unpleasant (second in command) and neither seems to realize how other people react to their behavior. It's fascinating to watch but it is not something you put up with long before putting in your notice.
