Fantastically friendly environment to work in.

Cons

Lack of management skill by the CEO meant that the company is like a headless chicken and knee-jerk cost cutting measure is a constant at the turn of financial year.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We have a clear plan in place that does involve reducing our cost base. This is a result of a shift in our product roadmap and focus on our customers, rather than knee-jerk cost cutting. The recent half year result announcement and the up coming QCM are both forums where the strategy and direction will be communicated widely.

Technically diverse products with some innovative capabilities for the healthcare IT environment compared to many competitors. It was a fun environment to work alongside a broad range of technical and clinical people. It also inspired purpose to be in an industry focused on delivering good outcomes (health).

Cons

Management was more focused on sales numbers rather than selling something that could be realistically delivered on time and meet the customer's needs. This created considerable tension between management, delivery teams and customers. Had poor leadership development promoting former developers into senior roles without consideration for their ability to lead or provide sufficient training to help steer them in the right direction.

Highlighting the great people working here is a common theme in many of the reviews that are posted on this site and we are committed to putting the right programs in place to help our team members succeed at our company. Key to this is ensuring that we support people who are promoted to leadership roles so that they in turn can inspire and mentor their own teams. We have implemented a number of program in the past year (with more to come!) around building leadership capability. We are confident that positive change is occurring, but we do acknowledge that we don’t always get it right, and we really encourage our employees to raise their concerns with their leader or a member of the People team.
