Mediocre Work for a Challenging Work Environment

Pros

You're not working as a day laborer.

Cons

You will work in a silo and some of your fellow staff members will do whatever it takes to get ahead. Definitely not a team environment. Had an issue with one particular producer who was the worst communicator one could ever imagine and the people are not all that friendly. It's very much about the bottom line and not about the work. Underpaid work for NYC.

Don’t do it

Pros

-outside of leadership, colleagues are good people -week of between Xmas and new years

Cons

-company directors have no business in those roles; they are rude, selfish, and regularly turn a blind eye towards the daily struggles of their employees -there seems to be no stable concept for this company’s future which makes job security a massive concern (they will fire people on a whim and then will avoid hiring replacements so the team grows smaller and smaller by the second) -osmosis clearly struggles to get business and win work from clients, resulting in having to accept projects from horrible companies (pharmaceutical, defense, etc)
