Pros
The children!!! The staff are overall well-meaning, and sweet. The pay is not bad, competitive in some respects. The locations are conveniently located for the most part. The work that is being done is really cool and great.
Cons
Upper leadership leaves much to be desired. They are very negative and self-serving. Condescension is the way of the land- from the attitude towards the clients, to the attitudes towards anyone trying to be innovative or think outside of the box. The children and their experiences are not considered when making decisions, they just want to look good to the outside. The CEO is.... unbelievable. The turnover is truly unbelievable. The overall morale is horrible, and no one cares to treat people respectfully to change it. Lots of aggressive "do it or else" tactics in place... and the "or else" is bullying and chastising. The board is completely oblivious to what is going on at the organization, and it's sad. There are not many high points.
