Cons

Undermining trust by expecting employees to volunteer during a busy time, only to later eliminate essential roles. Unprofessional behavior, including whispering and open gossip in shared workspaces, negatively affects morale. Budgeting decisions often feel misaligned with organizational needs including spending on low-impact workshops while essential staff roles are cut.

We have a stellar staff & currently have a really effective management team. Everyone really does care very deeply about what we do & who we serve & is dedicated to mission.

Cons

The same challenges as any non-profit: people with boundless compassion who tend to overwork and board members who sometimes do not understand how hard everyone is working.
