Unprofessional behavior, including whispering and open gossip in shared workspaces, negatively affects morale. Budgeting decisions often feel misaligned with organizational needs including spending on low-impact workshops while essential staff roles are cut.

The same challenges as any non-profit: people with boundless compassion who tend to overwork and board members who sometimes do not understand how hard everyone is working.
