If “Optimo International” is hiring you for this role, fair warning, unless you’re interested in MLM then this is perfect for you.
The interview was fairly easy considering they accept everyone and anyone due to the fact that they are an MLM company.
Even during the interview they tried to hide the fact that they are an MLM business and covered it up by saying they do “events” to “promote their products”. They dabble in skincare products (a very MLM thing), brands that I honestly can’t say I’ve seen in watsons/guardian as they claim.
What really gave it away? The list of questions they made us answer after the interview. Questions like: “How many hours are you willing to put in to run your own business?” and “How do you define success?”.
I left before they could pair me with one of their current MLM staff. The receptionist gave me such an uninterested look and asked why I was not interested in the job anymore. Well, I believe a company needs integrity to grow. There’s nothing wrong with MLM, I just wished they could be honest about it instead of selling it as an events job.
