I came here from another role in hopes to furthering my skills but I heavily regret it now. I was shoehorned into a very narrow role with little room to grow. I never even had enough work to do in my short time, and trying to take initiative and take on new responsibilities led to negative treatment. All the while communication is terrible - they will smile in your face and tell you good job when they do not mean it. They do not care about quality work, they only care about the status quo and how well you can toe the line. Do not step on managements' toes.
-Pay is not good.
-Extreme micromanagement. You are required to log your entire day down to the minute. Are you serous??
Big brother will track all your computer activity and let you hear about it.
-Terrible benefits. You won't even have PTO until 2 full years after being there.
-Extremely cliquey workplace. Lawyers will very loudly talk about their clients, often in a negative way. I heard these guys shout derogatory slurs about their clients on a daily basis. Very toxic place to be. To this point, I know for sure if I am ever in need of an injury attorney this place would not be it.
-Not an inclusive environment for people of color. Lacks diversity and shows bias in treatment of staff.
Just happy I can sleep better at night knowing I no longer work for leadership that constantly lets the Antelope Valley down.
