If you value your mental health, seek employment elsewhere
Pros
Opportunity to learn a lot about many different functions; good health insurance
Cons
PCMA puts a lot of pressure on its staff to constantly innovate, however the workloads are completely unmanageable and requests for add'l support are ignored. It's a very political environment, and authority is in the hands of a chosen few - some abuse that authority and bully others in order to further their own agendas. If a staff member goes to their supervisor (or above) about the overwhelming workload, the standard response is a laugh and "Welcome to PCMA." Employees who work long hours and over the weekend are celebrated, while anyone who attempts to preserve a work/life balance isn't pulling their weight. Middle management seems to be afraid to confront senior management about the low morale and lack of reasonable support. Senior management rewards negative behavior, and no one is sure whether it's due to a lack of awareness, or lack of interest in supporting staff. The CEO can, at times, behave like a tyrant. In recent months (2015-present) a number of staff members quit without a new job because of the stress of working at PCMA.
