From the moment I joined, I felt welcomed not only by a highly capable and empathetic HR team who ensured an incredibly smooth onboarding and relocation process, but also by colleagues across every department who are genuinely passionate about what they do. What’s even more remarkable is that I do not speak Spanish, and there are some colleagues who do not speak English, yet that has never once been a barrier to feeling included or supported. From engineers to operations to mission teams, people across the company have gone out of their way to make me feel at home, often offering help, guidance, or simply a friendly chat. The openness and kindness of the team speak volumes about the culture here. The team is composed of some of the most motivated, intelligent, and competent people I’ve had the privilege of working with. Whether it’s engineering, mission ops, commercial, or operations, every person here is not just skilled – they care deeply about the mission and about doing things well. There is no room for ego, and collaboration happens across disciplines with a natural fluidity that’s energising. The organisational structure is flat, non-bureaucratic, and deeply horizontal. Decisions are made quickly, ideas are welcomed from all levels, and there is a strong culture of ownership. You are given the trust and autonomy to lead your work, and performance is measured by outcomes, not by how many hours you sit at a desk. There is no micromanagement, just an expectation that you will rise to the occasion and own your results.
