Day rates are too low to pay loggers competitively. Constantly troubleshooting equipment. Management will tell you what you want to hear to stay working and not follow through.

Growing company that has normal growing pains. There are instances when less than desired time off has been requested by management.
Excellent management, excellent support system when out on a job, good pay incentives and benefits. Good training, and they give you the tools and support to be able to succeed on the job.

12 hour shifts, might be far from home. But that is to be expected in this line of work.
