Pros
A lot of overtime available most of the time, great coworkers, decent to good calls , minimal shady calls minimal dialysis calls.
Cons
Where do I start? From field supervisors to upper management micromanage show favoritism to preferred employees but give non preferred a hard time and watch them like a hawk. you can ran into the ground without breaks which is illegal I'm sure and don't care about field crews. Most of the ambulances are old beat up with 300,000+ miles on them, old gurneys and stair chairs, everything is budget minded just to get them by. They don't pay a lot into benefits or pay well hourly, uniforms are crap and they don't train field crews properly they just give them enough knowledge to run calls to make the company money but don't teach EMTs essentials like code 3 driving or what to do in (blank) situation.
