Pros

Remote work. Good pay. So I thought

Cons

I was promised a job by upper management as an Operations Manager. I accepted and was told that I could not Serve (Process Server) for any other company while employed with them. So I quit employment and Contracts with other companies. This job was a good paying position and was excited to be starting. A day before I was to start training, I was told that they are withdrawing their offer. No real reasons at all! My background check completely was green (verified). I asked numerous people - numerous times via email and left countless voicemails. The only answer I ever received was from the "founder" who is an Attorney asking me not to write any Management and he will respond when I retain an Attorney. They violated the EEOC & FTC rules. More than that, I could not regain my previous employ and contracts which left me in a very bad financial situation. I was being nice & respectful only seeking an honest answer as to WHY the sudden withdrawal. They totally blocked me in all ways form communication. BUT IT IS MY RIGHT TO KNOW THE REAL REASON OFFER WAS WITHDRAWN AFTER RUINING MY CAREER! I am seeking Legal Representation to begin Litigation against this company. Their illegal & unethical ways have to stop. Maybe I will get a response from this. I am sure if I do, it will be some nonsense excuse.

Pros

The work is Remote for management. The VP of Product and the head of Marketplace are extremely smart and have high EQ, and are overall rockstars.

Cons

Leadership changes led to the departure of several influential and caring leaders, including the VP of Ops, COO, and Head of Customer Success. The higher-level leadership team has explicitly told managers not to prioritize culture or morale, focusing only on hitting metrics and scaling at all costs. Ops leadership includes individuals who are unapproachable and not supportive in career growth, which negatively impacts team development. The Head of People Ops leadership is extremely cold, not a resource for employees, and is seen as unhelpful. Pay is extremely low compared to tech industry standards. Employee satisfaction and morale are not priorities, leading to high turnover

Pros

Health care for employee is covered, however it’s expensive for dependents.

Cons

Not a “remote first” company as they want everyone to believe. Fully in office or hybrid is now required for most. “Flexible time off” has now been capped. So in other words it’s not unlimited but you don’t get paid out when you’re are inevitably let go or burned out. No 401k matching, absurd for a company at this stage. High demand, embarrassingly low pay. Toxic culture. Minimal diversity, especially in senior leadership.
