Pros

Pacer has the most outstanding investment offerings of any ETF provider of its side in the industry. You can probably make some pretty good money before you burn out and quit.

Cons

Pacer has the most toxic (borderline cancerous) culture I've ever seen. Their senior leadership comprises two of the most disrespectful and disgusting people I've ever had the displeasure of meeting (inside/outside the industry.) As an external wholesaler, you will be exploited for your skills, and you will not feel dignity or fulfillment, and you will not have an opportunity to progress in your career.

Pros

Monthly variable comp, high pay potential but comes with constant pressure Hires externals off their internal desk Gives young wholesalers a shot - a good stepping stone but not a "forever home" Quarterly sales meetings that help refine skills. These are also held on random weekends from Thursday - Sunday and often require travel with overnight stays Good fund lineup & good material to present funds

Cons

Micromanagement: 5 meetings/day minimum, 30+ outbound phone calls daily, detailed monitoring of your phone logs (work-provided phone) and calendars - if you do not have a good calendar you will hear about it. Poor ETF flow tracking - firm does not pay for data packs 6-month clawbacks on all ETF inflows Each territory vastly different, including pay - stay away from Independent B territories

Pros

None at all, none at all.

Cons

This week 3 external wholesalers were "asked to resign". No warning, No PIP, no HR involvement. Pure disaster- Sean aka Adolf, says fire them. And the sheep divisionals do his bidding with no objections. Firms culture is beyond wore in industry. No one is safe- besides the "name brands" related to senior managers. This firm is a scary place to be-- unless you share a last name with leadership. Good luck.
