Pros

Pros, there are a good bunch of people working there, sadly they have been conditioned not to ask questions, to leave their ideas and opinions in the car park before entering the office.

Cons

This is a company who sell the ideal of working at Pavigym very very well. However in reality the owner, Marcos Requena has a perception of his company that is so far apart from the reality it is amazing they are still in business. Under paid staff, low moral, total lack of support from management, the organisation is TOP heavy with management on 60,000€ salary's UPWARDS. The culture is of fear, with Marcos Requena openly telling people at a strategic meeting "there is a queue of people at the gate waiting for your jobs" - no kidding. Another saying of Marcos Requena is "Ask less, give more" ...... after he took his family on a 40 days holiday to Australia 5* accommodation flights the lot. At Pavigym you leave your ideas in the car park, they dont want to hear them, you are simply they to be a robot, ask no questions, offer no ideas, after all you are only an employee who knows nothing. Avoid this company at all costs.

Pros

Great learning experience on what NOT to do and how NOT to do things

Cons

Everything. CEO has no clue how actual operations are going. He's had far to many coaching and MBA courses. He asks, asks, asks, but provides no resources or money. Contradictory orders all the time. He is easily impressed by titles: say you have an MBA, you are whatever-certified, and ask for big bucks and great! you are now an expert and he will hire you to tell him how to run his company. But you will not last: there is a new "hero and saviour" every three months, so lots of change in direction. Wife (current CFO) knows zilch about finances, law or how to manage a company (she has ruined at least one business before). Current COO is very knowledgeable on how to run factories. Only problem is this company is not a factory, therefore he has no clue on how to run it and gives erratic orders all the time. He is bringing the company to its knees (30% of employees laid off in 6 months, bottom line 50% down). If you say something that CEO, CFO or COO do not like, no matter if it's true and will do good to the company, you will be fired. They will take it as a "you are doing it wrong" and they cannot accept that. Only mediocre sycophants survive in the company. which is the main reason it's in huge trouble now and the brand is a joke in many countries already. Management tries to run the company using enterprise techniques. But this is a 30-people company, that simply does not apply. And it fails, oh dear, it fails all the time. Rank and file employees have a very low pay. Staff and management have a good pay (my case). Turn over is really high: more than 50% of the company has changed in 1 year. Summary: worst company I have ever worked for. Most toxic workplace ever. Avoid like the plague. Do not be impressed by the mirage and marketing, it's all a lie.

Pros

I do not find any benefit working in this company

Cons

I did not learn much in this company. In the department you have to do everything, that is to say that you are worth for one thing as for another, covering gaps from one side to another, that shows that they have no control over things. They also pay very little and contribute little to the worker's experience. The human resources department has no idea and the management much English and marketing but deep down is empty. It is an inherited family company plated the old way. The good ones leave right away. A lot of marketing and not recommended.

Pavigym Response

Hi, It is a real shame to read that feedback from a former employee. For a long period of time, the whole team has been working hard in order to build an organizational structure which make us better, year after year. Our aim has always been developing the team, giving the people the right to make mistakes, grow and develop themselves. We would be glad to comprehen the feedback in depth and get new ideas about how to improve in any aspect. Please, feel free to contact HR in that case. Many thanks, Kind regards
