Terrible place to work

Pros

Free coffee and very close to home. Some of the people are nice except the executive. Building is nice. I can come and go as I please, no one really cares.

Cons

Leadership is terrible. Cuts are made yet the executive parking spots are full of luxury cars. People drink the koolaid since they are afraid of being fired. Horrible things happening behind the scenes at the senior levels. They talk about family yet no one treats anyone like family. HR is terrible, including in Montreal, everyone looking out for themselves, not sure how this company keeps winning 50 best award, people should ask the employees for their opinions instead of just having the company submit a report for the award. Very biased way to do things. Stop promoting people who have done favours for the company, rather, promote those who are competent.

Pros

- Benefits comparable to industry - Nice building with lots of parking - Free coffee - Salary average compared to other places

Cons

- Extremely poor communications from upper management - Many broken promises by management with respect to professional growth - Micromanagement of staff - Some staff are too busy, others have nothing to do - Rush, rush, rush without much thought

Pros

You can get decent experience if you get to work with the right people. Some activities and events every month.

Cons

For the last 2-3 years we have had 3 company structure changes with mass promotions and mass firings. People get promoted not for working hard, and standing their ground, but for being friends with management, talking a lot, working over hours and convincing teammates to work more for free. New HR has no people skills and thinks she is the most important person ever.
