Pros

Free snacks and soft drinks Nice-looking office environment

Cons

This company is a nightmare to work for. Employees are overworked, micromanaged, and underpaid, with no recognition or appreciation whatsoever. The management is completely useless—there’s no support, no guidance, and they keep everyone in the dark about important business decisions. The pay is a joke, especially considering the heavy workload dumped on us while senior managers remain arrogant, out of touch, and show no concern for employee well-being. There is absolutely no work-life balance. The workload is overwhelming because they hire too many salespeople and not nearly enough service staff, leading to constant stress and burnout. To top it off, they won’t let you take more than two weeks of annual leave, giving pathetic excuses about being understaffed. This place is toxic from top to bottom. Advice to management: To senior managers and C-level executives, start hiring more staff, pay your employees what they’re worth, acknowledge your service teams, and send them on trips like you do for sales. Reward the people who actually take care of your clients.

Hello & than you for your feedback. It would appear that your time with us has soured your view of our company. We take your review seriously although your review covers a number of areas and topics which are not consistent with that of our workforce. Our salaries are on par with the market, and we constantly are reviewing this in line with market salaries. To reward our service teams, we have Super Service Awards with 10 employees per month acknowledged and rewarded financially ($1000 and a day off) for delivering our service - this means we can reward more people in our services teams across the year. I would welcome the opportunity to unpack your review further. I can be reached at feedback@peninsula-au.com and look forward to hearing from you. Regards Mary @ Peninsula ANZ

Pros

Very little. For new graduates or those with no industry experience it's a great way to get your foot in the door and start learning.

Cons

The Company does not have enough staff to service call volumes and tasks. This regularly means management are seeking employees to work overtime resulting in fatigue. The Company does not recognise employees beyond paying overtime rates at which time they consider they owe nothing further to the employee, no gratitude, no recognition for service when salary reviews are done etc. Salary reviews happen but don't expect to be included in the review process. You simply be told yes or no. Salary increases in advice are solely on if you answered enough calls, got a good score on call assessments (which are not always done), and if you completed tasks on time (which could be put in your name and already over the set SLA). The salaries are not competitive. The Company has high turn over and currently losing their most experienced and knowledgeable employees first, leaving the Company because they are getting offers $20k - $40k more than paid at Employsure/Peninsula, with better work life balance. The Company will say engage.ent of the current workforce in high but this is a lot of new staff and the Company does not regularly complete staff engagement surveys. Management are will to listen to grievances and feedback but rarely is anything accomplished by this. Instead you'll be told they understand and can see your point of view but the decision is made higher up and out of their hands.

Pros

Friendly staff, fun place to work, not hard work.

Cons

You need to have good mental health. Stressful KPIs, extremely high turn over, good floor management, The head of sales is good one day, fires someone the next.

Hi and thank you for your review. It is wonderful to hear you feel that our environment is fun and friendly and that the role is rewarding, this i something we strive to achieve especially within the sales environment. It is concerning to read that you believed the KPI's are stressful and that there is high turnover on the sales deck. Whilst we appreciate sales can be tough a times and it isn't for everyone, the engagement sentiments of our team do not reflect your views. I would welcome the opportunity to understand your feedback in depth and your views on what can be improved. I can be reached at feedback@peninsula-au.com and look forward to hearing from you.
