Pros

People-first culture: PSC proves you can hit big goals while still treating employees with genuine empathy. It’s a very supportive environment. Great variety of work: Beyond my main role as a trainer, I get to work on unique, different projects that keep things exciting. Amazing learning ground: The learning curve is excellent, making it a fantastic place for fresh graduates to build skills. Real community impact: Our hands-on community work is the real deal, not just a corporate checkbox. It keeps us grounded and is a true eye-opener.

Cons

Vague. Because we are growing, our daily systems for task delegation and decision-making can feel a bit unclear at times. Blurred boundaries: With our flexible work style, it can sometimes be tough to maintain strict professional boundaries for a good work-life balance. Unclear growth paths: The roadmap for promotions and getting support for industry certifications isn't fully defined yet. Need for updated pay: Internal salary scales currently lag a bit behind the standard market averages for our industry.

Pros

PSC provides strong exposure to diverse project environments involving government agencies, corporates, NGOs, and local communities. This helps build solid skills in communication, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project execution. The work is meaningful and impact-driven, with employees able to see the outcomes of programmes delivered. The culture is generally collaborative and supportive, with opportunities to take ownership of tasks and gain hands-on experience in real project delivery. Overall, it is a good learning environment, especially for those early in their careers in the social impact space.

Cons

Upskilling is largely experience-based, with limited structured training, and career progression can feel gradual and not always clearly defined. Work-life balance may be affected during peak periods due to tight deadlines and sudden unexpected tasks, which can sometimes arise from shifting priorities and coordination challenges. Compensation may also be less competitive compared to industry averages, even after several years of experience within the organisation, particularly when considered against workload intensity.

Pros

Working with PSC has been a meaningful experience. As a Trainer, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from diverse professional backgrounds, all united by a common goal of improving the lives of marginalized communities through quality programs and training. What I appreciate most about PSC is its culture of openness. Regardless of position, everyone is encouraged to share ideas and contribute, creating a supportive and collaborative work environment. <3

Cons

One area for growth is expanding programs to reach more sectors of the community. This would not only increase PSC's impact but also provide employees with opportunities to develop new skills and broaden their experience.
