      Was a great place to work...until it wasn't

      Pros

      Team-oriented Previous VP of Operations/HR Manager was amazing Most coworkers are kind and helpful Most clients were great to talk to Helping others get out of student loan debt

      Cons

      -CEO arrogant and quick to fire anyone anytime and anywhere -Very high-stress job/demanding -Low pay for previous employees vs newcomers, regardless of experience and time spent with the company -CEO doesn't want to move you to another position even if you're doing amazing in your current role -No benefits for part-time, including no PTO - CEO will fire you and remove you from all platforms before even discussing it with you and your manager - totally blindsided. - Hard work and recognition is not rewarded other than a silly employee-based voting system.

      To mention a few things; Impactful Work: Peoplejoy team members always looking for opportunities on how to crush student loan debts for clients, and you can see the genuine concern. Learning and Growth: Had to wear many hats in the company as it's a startup but the good thing is that it helped my growth in my career.

      Cons

      Nothing out of the norm for a startup.
