Pros

The role itself provided valuable experience

Cons

This company has significant issues with consistency, transparency, leadership, and employee support. Policies and procedures are often enforced selectively depending on the employee or situation, creating an unfair and frustrating work environment. Employees are expected to follow rules that management themselves do not consistently uphold, and there is pressure to participate in practices that may conflict with established policies. Training is minimal to nonexistent. New employees are often thrown into their roles without proper guidance, support, or resources. Instead of coaching employees through challenges, management frequently allows mistakes to happen without intervention, only to hold employees solely accountable afterward. The turnover rate is extremely high, which speaks volumes about the overall culture and lack of support. Many employees are afraid to speak up or raise concerns because they fear retaliation or losing their jobs. Management is highly disorganized, communication is poor, and leadership often appears disconnected from the day-to-day challenges employees face. Directors and corporate leadership can be dismissive or rude toward employees they do not favor, creating an environment where staff feel undervalued and uncomfortable. The workplace culture is extremely cliquish, making it difficult for employees outside certain groups to feel included or respected. Employees often feel like they have to walk on eggshells and document every interaction to protect themselves. Despite promoting diversity and employee appreciation during the hiring process, the reality does not reflect those promises. The chain of command is ineffective, concerns are regularly dismissed rather than addressed, and there is little accountability when issues are brought forward. Micromanagement is common, autonomy is limited, and there is little trust placed in employees to do their jobs effectively. Work-life balance is virtually nonexistent, and employees are often expected to prioritize work at the expense of their personal well-being. Most concerning is the lack of employee advocacy. There are few resources available for employees who need support, and it often feels like there is no one genuinely looking out for staff interests. Leadership should focus on applying policies fairly, improving training, fostering respectful communication, reducing turnover, and creating a culture where employees feel safe, supported, and empowered to speak up without fear of retaliation.

Pros

Sadly, nothing positive to report about this company anymore.

Cons

- Culture has gone down hill but leadership doesn’t see it that way. A lot of good people are gone now. - Upper management doesn’t know anything anymore and offers little to no training on anything new being rolled out - Owners are oblivious to how bad current director is - There is so much clickiness that didn’t used to exist and no sense of authentic inclusion - They get rid of good people or let good people walk out if they express concern. Current leadership doesn’t take responsibility or accountability for his extremely toxic leadership style. - Decisions are being made and agendas are being pushed with no intentional care or concern for the hard working employees. - Coworkers are tired, and feel defeated all the time because leadership makes them feel scared that retaliation will occur.

Pros

The company was great before the new Director of Property Management Welton started.

Cons

This company has really gone down hill since the new Director or Property Management Welton started. The culture has shifted so much and it has turned into a micromanaging culture. If you want to enjoy your work life and social life, please do your research before applying.
